Technical Manager Location: London, SW19 Salary: circa £50,000 pa Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Due to an internal promotion, we have an immediate requirement for an experienced Technical Manager, to join our production facility in Merton/Wimbledon. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality and legality of all foods manufactured on site (predominantly fresh fruit & veg produce based). This will also include an amount of liaison with customers, suppliers and 3rd parties on all aspects of fresh food manufacture and supply. Accountabilities: Leading and managing the food safety, quality and legality standards on site (Including BRCGS). The Technical team including QA, Technical and Hygiene functions. Technical liaison with key customers, carefully handling of food safety, legality and quality issues. Efficient and effective communication of food technical scenarios. Evolution, development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). Monthly food safety, legality and quality KPI reporting. Supporting customer portal / information / specification management. Customer complaint investigation and management. Working effectively within site team and the wider Reynolds Food Group. Functional Responsibilities: Maintaining accreditation / certification standards. Monitoring and managing the QMS with a robust due diligence program. Effective and efficient customer technical liaison. Effective working relationships with Operational and Administrative teams. On time new product launch with demonstrable technical compliance. High performance in customer audits. Proactive cross functional working on day-to-day activities / hot topics / work in progress. Timely investigations, resolution and preventative actions. New supplier approval, ongoing supplier management. Team member training. Commitment to positive food safety culture that transcends from the internal operations to external customer confidence.
