We are looking for an experienced and proactive QHSE Engineer to support the continued development, harmonisation and improvement of our Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems across multiple operational locations within the Solsta business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and visibility working across sites, partnering with stakeholders at all levels and playing a key role in strengthening compliance, driving continuous improvement and embedding a positive QHSE culture.

Working closely with the QHSE Manager, you will help ensure our management systems remain robust, compliant and audit ready, whilst also supporting future certifications and wider business improvement initiatives.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the maintenance, development and continuous improvement of company QHSE systems across all Solsta locations.
  • Assisting in the harmonisation of business standards and processes across the group.
  • Supporting compliance to recognised standards including ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001, ISO45001 and assisting with certification to additional standards where required such as ISO13485 and IATF16949.
  • Ensuring third-party certifications are maintained and audit readiness is sustained.
  • Conducting internal audits across multiple sites and supporting wider Group audit activity when required.
  • Supporting customer, supplier and third-party audits including preparation, hosting and close out actions.
  • Preparing QHSE reports, KPI statistics and compliance updates for management review.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operational areas.
  • Leading or supporting investigations into non-conformances, root cause analysis, corrective actions and 8D activity.
  • Supporting supplier quality evaluation, approval and audit activity.
  • Managing vendor approval records and supplier performance information.
  • Supporting product regulatory compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Assisting with contract review and customer requirement flow-downs.
  • Managing Honeywell FAIR documentation to ensure timely completion to customer requirements.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking someone who combines technical QHSE knowledge with a practical, hands-on and collaborative approach.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in a QHSE / Quality Engineering / Compliance Engineering role within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, electronics or technical environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality and management systems standards including: ISO9001/AS9100D/ISO14001/ISO45001.
  • Exposure to ISO13485 / IATF16949 would be highly advantageous.
  • Auditor training / internal or lead audit experience.
  • Experience supporting audits, investigations, corrective actions and supplier quality processes.
  • Knowledge of FAIR documentation, contract review and customer compliance requirements desirable.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH qualification or equivalent Health & Safety training desirable.
  • Strong reporting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to travel across multiple sites as required.
