The Role
Were looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Virtualisation Specialist to join an established technical team supporting critical government platforms and services.
Youll be working across both BAU support and project delivery, providing hands-on expertise across VMware/Broadcom virtualisation technologies. The role will involve supporting existing infrastructure, troubleshooting and maintaining services, as well as helping to design and implement new services as part of ongoing project work.
This is a technically hands-on role suited to someone with strong VMware infrastructure experience and a good understanding of enterprise virtualisation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain enterprise VMware/Broadcom infrastructure and associated services.
- Provide technical support across BAU and project activities.
- Configure, administer and troubleshoot VMware environments.
- Support the implementation of new infrastructure and services.
- Contribute to infrastructure migration and transformation projects.
- Work collaboratively with other infrastructure and technical teams.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer and support to colleagues.
- Participate in an on-call rota to support critical BAU services. xgikmsk
- Assist with continuous improvement and operational resilience across the environment.
