Job Description Pay, Reward and Benefits Manager \n Location: Reading / Hybrid \n Contract: 12 months \n Working pattern: 2–3 days per week onsite \n Rate: £68.12 per hour Umbrella or £50.19 per hour PAYE \n We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pay, Reward and Benefits Manager to join a large and complex organisation on a 12-month contract. \n This is a great opportunity for an experienced Reward, Compensation or Benefits professional to take ownership of key reward and compensation programmes, providing expert advice across pay, allowances, incentives and employee mobility. \n The Role \n As Pay, Reward and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery and ongoing development of compensation and reward frameworks, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant and aligned with business requirements. \n You will work closely with HR, management and Reward colleagues, providing expert guidance on pay and reward matters and supporting key annual reward processes. \n Key Responsibilities \n ·Maintain and develop compensation frameworks covering base pay, pay ranges, allowances and variable pay. \n ·Lead the annual pay review process and support incentive distribution. \n ·Conduct regular salary benchmarking and market analysis. \n ·Monitor the effectiveness of compensation programmes and recommend improvements. \n ·Oversee the delivery of domestic and international mobility services and frameworks. \n ·Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and HR colleagues on compensation-related matters. \n ·Produce compensation data, KPIs and statutory reporting, including gender pay gap analysis. \n ·Support pay agreements and provide specialist input into industrial relations and trade union discussions. \n ·Work closely with HR and Payroll to ensure compensation changes are implemented accurately and compliantly. \n ·Act as the focal point for compensation-related internal and external audits. \n ·Ensure compensation processes comply with relevant legislation, regulations and internal governance. \n ·Provide professional leadership, guidance and development to Reward colleagues. \n ·Line manage Reward professionals and hold them accountable for delivery. \n About You \n We are looking for an experienced Pay, Reward, Compensation or Total Reward professional with a strong understanding of compensation frameworks and pay structures. \n Suitable backgrounds could include: \n ·Pay
