Our public sector client is looking to recruit a Public Transport Services Manager on a permanent contract. The role will be hybrid to be onsite 2 days per week and you will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with all of our bus operating companies, community transport, and other stakeholders to build a smart, integrated network of public transport, driven by data, with the goal of increasing patronage across the county.
  • Ensuring that buses are connected to rail, and market towns are frequently and reliably connected to the city.
  • Ensuring that rural areas are not missing from the network and that buses are used by everyone.
  • Undertaking supervision, professional development and support of your staff, whilst also building a team; therefore demonstrable people and leadership attributes will definitely be needed.
  • Working with internal colleagues, external partners and other providers to co-ordinate and manage various projects in these service areas; skills in partnership and relationship management, project management and working across organisations are essential.
