Technical Infrastructure Architect

We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Infrastructure Architect to join a high-profile public sector transformation programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions across a complex technology estate.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners, you'll help shape secure, resilient and scalable infrastructure that supports critical business services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of enterprise infrastructure architecture.
  • Produce high- and low-level technical designs.
  • Assess existing infrastructure and define future-state architecture.
  • Develop migration and transition strategies across core infrastructure services.
  • Provide architecture governance and technical assurance.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, suppliers and project teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, operational and architectural standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Technical Infrastructure Architect within a large, complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft 365, networking, identity and access management, cloud and cyber security.
  • Experience delivering infrastructure architecture within large transformation programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
