We’re working with a leading London-based higher education institution to recruit a Project Manager to support the delivery of key strategic initiatives across the faculty.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager or Programme/Project Officer with experience delivering people-focused change projects in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, from planning through to implementation
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risk logs, and governance processes
  • Coordinate activity across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and engagement sessions
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions
  • Produce clear reports, updates, and briefings for senior stakeholders
  • Support the successful adoption of new processes and ways of working

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering projects or programmes in a complex organisation (e.g. higher education, NHS, public sector, or similar)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across teams and levels
  • Experience supporting or delivering change, transformation, or improvement initiatives
  • Solid understanding of project management tools and approaches (planning, risk, governance, reporting)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a higher education or research environment
  • Exposure to people, culture, or organisational change initiatives
  • Understanding of governance structures in large organisations
