We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Project Management Business Partner to join a leading global aerospace organisation at their Broughton site on an initial 12-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager / PMO professional to join a high-profile A320 Family industrial programme, supporting project teams across a complex, highly regulated aerospace environment.
The Role
Working within the Project Management function, you’ll support project and programme leaders in applying robust PM governance, processes, tools and best practice to achieve time, cost and performance objectives. A key focus of the role will be Change Control and Modification (MOD) Implementation, alongside supporting a broad range of project management activities including:
- Work Package and Terms of Work management
- Integrated project planning and schedule management
- Ramp-up governance and enablement projects
- CAPEX and business performance
- Risk & Opportunity Management
- Change control and impact assessment
- EVM, critical path and performance tracking
- KPI, dashboard and management reporting
- Stakeholder and supplier management
- Project reviews and governance forums
- Coaching and supporting project leaders in PM best practice
- Supporting Agile ways of working and Scrum activities where required
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and digitalisation
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, PMO or Project Management Business Partner who has operated within a complex organisation and can confidently engage with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels. You’ll ideally bring:
- 5–10+ years' project/programme management experience
- Experience delivering projects within a complex engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong experience across risk, cost, schedule, change and stakeholder management
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong planning, reporting and data analysis skills
- Experience with Agile / Scrum / SAFe methodologies
- Experience of EVM, KPI reporting and project governance
- Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills
- Aerospace, engineering or manufacturing experience is highly desirable
- Experience of working with suppliers and/or procurement functions
- Airbus/aerospace systems and processes would be a significant advantage
- APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management certification is desirable
