About the Role
We are currently recruiting for two experienced Personal Assistants to support a senior Executive Team within a public sector organisation based in Nuneaton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, professional and highly capable PA/Executive Assistant to work closely with senior leadership, providing high-level administrative and project support in a busy and confidential environment.
The role is office-based, with some flexibility around working hours and part-time arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diaries and appointments for the Chief Executive and Strategic Directors.
- Monitor and manage senior executives' email accounts.
- Arrange meetings, events, travel and visits.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other documentation.
- Take minutes and provide administrative support at senior management meetings.
- Act as a key point of contact for senior managers, elected representatives, external organisations and members of the public.
- Maintain accurate electronic filing systems, including confidential records.
- Provide project and programme support for corporate projects.
- Assist with reports for senior leadership, Cabinet and Council meetings.
- Support Freedom of Information requests, complaints and other enquiries.
- Raise purchase orders and process relevant financial transactions.
- Assist with corporate events and occasional civic/Mayoral support.
- Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a PA, Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator or similar role, ideally within a complex or public sector environment.
You should have
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing diaries, correspondence and meetings.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Teams.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- A professional and confident manner when dealing with senior stakeholders and external organisations.
- Previous experience taking minutes and preparing reports would be advantageous.
- Knowledge or understanding of local government would be desirable.
A relevant qualification at Level 3 or equivalent is required.
