We are recruiting for an experienced General Manager to lead the delivery of a major Street Lighting Term Service Contract across Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile contract, leading operational delivery while driving commercial performance, client satisfaction, safety and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesLead the operational delivery of maintenance, capital works and third-party projects.Take full responsibility for contract performance, budgets, forecasting and P&L.Build and maintain strong relationships with the local authority client and key stakeholders.Ensure KPIs, service levels and contractual obligations are consistently achieved.Lead, motivate and develop managers, supervisors and operational teams.Promote a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture.Drive continuous improvement, innovation and operational efficiencies.Produce financial and operational performance reports.Support future business growth through client engagement and tender support.About YouSignificant experience managing street lighting, highways, utilities or infrastructure contracts.Proven experience with contract P&L management and commercial responsibility.Experience working with local authority or public sector clients.Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.A proactive approach to health, safety and continuous improvement.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.Essential RequirementsSMSTS (or equivalent)Relevant CSCS CardFull UK Driving LicenceWhat's on Offer?Competitive salaryCompany vehicleFlexible working arrangements25 days annual leave plus
