Intelligence Analyst £24.47 per hour Umbrella Full time 12 Month Contract Initially Warrington Onsite working SC Clearance required Restrictions Apply We require Intelligence Officers to work specifically within Our Clients Child Sexual Exploitation Referral Bureau (CSERB) in Warrington. As an Intelligence Officer in this role, you will regularly view reports and assess Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE) material (this includes images, media and chat) which constitute a criminal offence. The CSERB is a critical national function supporting the Our Clients fight against on-line CSAE. Acting as a gateway for online CSAE reporting, referrals are received from well-known Electronic Service Providers (ESPs) such as TikTok, Facebook, Dropbox and YouTube via the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). CSERB has been designated as the UK reporting body under the new Online Safety Act (2023). CSERB will receive online CSAE reports from UK companies. This new capability will be integrated with current operations to enhance Our Clients response to tackling on-line CSAE and coordinating UK Law Enforcements response to safeguarding victims and pursuing offenders. As part of this proactive intelligence function, your task will be to identify the location of the child or subjects (offenders), utilising a variety of intelligence development techniques, working within relevant legislation. Officers will be required to perform download responsibilities such as geo-locating referrals and assessing material. You will need to make sure that corporate records are maintained as to the action and casework that is undertaken. Key to the role is an enquiring mind and ability to think laterally so that the right intelligence development technique is used to identify those who exploit children. You must be resilient as the nature of the material viewed can be challenging. This is why welfare and wellness is a unit priority, You will be supported through specialist support mechanisms at individual, team and unit levels and within the team you will also play an active role in our wellness and wellbeing activities. As part of the recruitment process you will need to have a Psychological Assessment conducted by Psychologists within our Occupational Health team to assess your suitability for the role. It is essential, therefore, that you are willing to work with child sexual abuse and exploitation material. Entry Criteria: 1) Proven experience of working to tight deadlines. 2) Analysing information from a wide range of sources. 3) Risk management skills. 4) Safeguarding experience beneficial 5) Analysis, risk assessments, research and analysts experience essential Top 3 criteria 1) Experience of working in this field of work previously / Safeguarding experience 2) Law enforcement experience 3) Research & Analysis / risk assessment experaiance Security Clearance: SC Clearance required from the get go.
