Our public sector client is looking for an experienced HR Consultant – Job Evaluation to join their Workforce and Change team. This is an excellent opportunity to support fair and consistent job evaluation, organisational design and pay and grading initiatives within a collaborative HR environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on job evaluation, grading and organisational design.
  • Lead and support job evaluation exercises using recognised methodologies.
  • Review and evaluate job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Advise managers on restructures, role redesign and organisational change.
  • Ensure job evaluation processes are fair, consistent and compliant with policy.
  • Build effective relationships with managers, HR colleagues and trade unions.
  • Analyse workforce data to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
  • Promote equality, diversity and inclusion throughout all job evaluation activities.

About You

  • Chartered CIPD member or equivalent HR experience with a commitment to achieving Chartered Membership.
  • Experience of job evaluation within a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of job evaluation principles and pay and grading frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence, build relationships and provide practical HR advice.
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 and HR systems.
