Our Client is a CQC-registered provider of high-quality domiciliary and live-in care across Hampshire and Surrey. We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead our operational team and drive the delivery of safe, person-centred care to clients in their own homes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, driven care professional to take ownership of a growing service, working closely with our directors to shape the future of the business.
The day-to-day duties for the Domiciliary Care Manager include:
- Leading and managing the operational team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Conducting client assessments and developing tailored care plans
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures and health & safety standards
- Managing budgets, forecasting and cost control to ensure service sustainability
- Recruiting, training, supervising and developing care staff
- Building strong relationships with clients, families, local authorities and commissioners
- Investigating complaints and incidents and driving continuous improvement
- Identifying new business opportunities and supporting growth across Hampshire and Surrey
The Requirements and Experience needed for the Domiciliary Care Manager role includes:
- 3,000+ hours' hands-on experience in domiciliary care
- Proven experience managing a care service, including staff management, risk assessment and care planning
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding procedures
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a care setting
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Confident using care management software and electronic record-keeping systems
- Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Full UK driving licence required
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager, Train-the-Trainer certification, and experience in care sector business development are all desirable.
