We are looking for a HR Manager to deliver people management plans and support SoloProtect's business goals. This role reports to the Finance Director and leads on all HR matters.

Key Activities

  • Responsible for HR planning in partnership with senior management.
  • Review and update HR policies in line with legislative changes.
  • Manage ER casework and advise managers on formal processes such as disciplinaries, grievances, and contractual updates.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, H&S standards, and D&I policies.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection, talent management and succession planning.
  • Ensure hiring compliance by verifying right-to-work, ID checks, and reviewing security screening reports.
  • Maintain and improve the use of HR systems (HRIS and LMS).
  • Provide operational support on ER, employment law, onboarding, job evaluations, D&I, and organisational changes.
  • Responsible for managing absenteeism, retention, payroll changes, and accurate references.
  • Conduct engagement surveys, analyse feedback, and implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
  • Responsible for managing HR projects as directed.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with emerging HR and employment law developments.
  • Fulfilment of additional duties as required.

Desired Experience

  • Identify learning needs across all levels of the organisation and implement training initiatives to address skills gaps.
  • Experience working with EU employment law.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience.
  • Professional HR certification, such as CIPD.
  • Demonstrable experience in compliance and employment law.
  • Experience in developing and supporting line managers.
  • Experience in HR planning and delivering people initiatives.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
