About the Role
Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and seizing new opportunities? As one of our Business Development Managers, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth; identifying and capitalising on new business prospects, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure our solutions meet market needs.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of your sales quota and directly contribute to revenue growth.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline (5X coverage), including cold calling and nurturing leads/opportunities.
- Prioritise high-conversion opportunities (think demo requests and inbound leads).
- Shorten deal cycles and accelerate time-to-close through efficient opportunity management.
- Spot emerging markets and act fast to win new business.
- Share market insights to shape our marketing and digital campaigns.
- Keep meticulous records in Salesforce CRM.
- Leverage UK legislation to unlock new opportunities.
- Connect with decision-makers and negotiate win-win agreements.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 5 years’ experience in technical or service-based sales, with a proven record in solution selling.
- Understanding of RMR (Recurring Monthly Revenue) / subscription based sales.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce).
- Previous exposure to security or device-enabled SaaS solutions is a plus.
- A self-starter attitude—own your performance and always find ways to deliver.
- Mastery of solution and challenger sales methodologies.
- Thrive under pressure and constantly seek ways to improve results.
- Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
