Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Assistant Buyer to join our team. You will support the management of a portfolio of internationally recognised consumer‑electronics brands. The role combines data analysis, supplier communication, reporting and operational coordination, ensuring pricing, stock and product performance are effectively managed across the UK retail market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and contributing to commercial decision‑making in a fast‑moving distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day‑to‑day relationships with a portfolio of leading global brands.
- Monitor pricing, product performance and stock levels to maintain competitiveness and availability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate product launches, promotions and product updates across retail channels.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident Excel user with an analytical and data‑driven mindset.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment.
- Experience in buying, merchandising, brand management or account management is advantageous.
- Relevant commercial experience is beneficial but not essential.
