Solo60 is the fastest-growing network of self-operated, on-demand wellness space. We are transforming units into a network of private gyms, therapy spaces, and treatment rooms, all bookable by members and professionals via our app from 60 minutes at a time. We are also embarking on building the largest wellness professional platform which includes software, marketplaces and more. Founded by a team with deep experience in real estate, fitness, and technology, Solo60 has grown rapidly by offering a unique value proposition to our customers and landlord partners. The Role: You’ll be responsible for the overall marketing function and brand communications in online and offline strategies to deliver business growth whilst ensuring any marketing budgets are invested with a positive return – this includes social media, performance marketing, partnerships, events and influencers. We are a growing team, and you will be working closely with the C-Suite so it is crucial that you can work both independently and show entrepreneurial skills to deliver tangible results but also be part of a wider management team reporting to shareholders and the board.
This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on in an early stage start-up and help us rewrite the rules of the fitness and wellness industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and elevate Solo60’s brand position to align with our strategic vision and mission including updating brand guidelines so the brand, tone of voice and narrative remains cohesive across all channels and business segments.
- Optimise the marketing budget effectively and track ROI performance on all current and new channels against our KPIs such as LTV, CPA, CAC, and internal occupancy and revenue KPIs.
- Use data, customer feedback and research to help understand our audiences and cohort retention.
- Improve the marketing plan and customer journey, coming up with materials to upsell our rising stairs or prevent churn candidates.
- Concept and create unique campaigns with a focus on telling our story and USPs in a viral nature through social media, guerilla marketing, performance marketing, influencers and all direct marketing/offline opportunities.
- Overseeing social content across owned channels and growing engagement and following.
- In charge of expanding in new markets such as PR, B2B partnerships, influencer marketing.
- Constantly being on top of current trends and innovation for new opportunities for acquisition and retention.
- Ensure all marketing and sales material is up to date, and reflective of the business in terms of quality and accuracy.
- Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies and suppliers.
Things We Look For:
- 3+ years working in a Head of Marketing or Marketing Manager role, ideally in start-ups and B2C.
- Be a truly out-of-the box thinker.
- Thorough knowledge of all social media platforms and their algorithms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
- Have a passion for the industry and a love for sport, health and/or fitness.
- Excellent written, presentation and copywriting skills with attention to detail.
