About the Role

I am a teenager who enjoys playing on my iPad and game consoles with my brothers. I also enjoy spending time with my carers. I have a lot of complex health issues for which I need support to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a PEG – J tube and non‑invasive ventilation to support my breathing. I can communicate well and have good awareness of my complex needs and the support that I require. It is important to me to build good relationships with my PA’s to ensure that I feel comfortable knowing you will be there to care for me.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of personal care and administer medications.
  • Provide moving and handling support, including transfers and regular repositioning.
  • Support ventilation needs and suctioning as and when required.
  • Work on a 5‑hour shift per day, every other weekend on a two‑week rota:
  • Week 1 – Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

  • Applicants must be female to support personal care needs.
