Self Employed Personal Care Assistant Required. I am a 51-year-old man living in the Stapleford area with my wife. I was previously very active, working full time and enjoying sports, gardening, and DIY. Following a diagnosis of Cauda Equina Syndrome and subsequent spinal surgery, I now experience constant pain and am mostly bedbound, with difficulties around mobility, continence, and eating. I value honesty, respect, and clear communication. I can become distressed if I feel my concerns are dismissed, so straightforward communication is important to me. I am looking for support from someone who will provide good company, engage in conversation, and help motivate me. The role is for a self-employed Personal Assistant who will help with daily living tasks and encourage activities including my goal to return to fishing.
