About the Role
I am an 8‑year‑old girl with complex health needs, mobile with support. We need a caregiver to provide afternoon care after school.
Responsibilities
- Meet me off the bus and bring me home.
- Provide care until bedtime: feeding, playing, physiotherapy exercises.
- Administer medicine and support personal care.
- Assist with changing for bed and occasional bath.
- Support with nutrition, safe environment, and general well‑being.
Qualifications
- Female, due to the personal nature of the role (Equality Act 2010 exemption).
- Calm, reliable, able to think on your feet.
- Experience working with children is advantageous.
- Full training will be provided.
Hours & Pay
- 15 hours per week: 3 hours a day (3:45 pm – 6:45 pm), 5 days a week or weekend works.
- Pay: £12.21 per hour.
- Flexibility for additional hours covering holidays and sickness.
