I am a young man with a spinal cord injury, and I am looking for Personal Assistants to join my existing team. I have a physical disability and require full support with all aspects of daily living to promote my independence and help me maintain a good quality of life.
I enjoy outdoor activities, including watching football matches, as well as spending time socialising with my family and friends.
Your role will include supporting me with personal care, catheter care, nutrition, moving and handling, domestic chores, and enabling me to access and enjoy the local community. Full training will be provided.
The right candidate will be calm and have a genuine caring nature, good communication skills and a good sense of humour. Due to the nature of the care and support I require, experience in hoisting and catheter care would be preferred, however, full training will be provided.
I require 24/7 care, and I am looking to recruit for a 36 hour per week position for someone who would be able to work from 8am to 8pm 3 days a week out of 7 and will also be available to cover holidays and sickness, as and when needed.
In return for your dedication, you'll receive a competitive rate of pay in addition to:
- 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time positions).
- Company pension scheme after 3 months service, subject to the scheme rules.
