Are you ready for a change and looking for a rewarding job in health and social care look no further, this may be the job for you!
ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a young boy born in 2017 with complex health care needs. I live at home with my parents and siblings in Rugby. I have complex health care needs which include respiratory support, PEG care, medication, seizure care, mobility and communication needs. Currently my care is being provided by my parents and South Warwickshire Foundation Trust. I require a Support Worker to allow my parents some respite time.
I am looking for a Support Worker who is flexible and will be able to support me as and when my parents require respite time.
As part of the Support Worker role, you will be required to complete approximately 15 weeks of training which consists of one training session per week. This will be provided prior to any support taking place. Although this is for ad hoc respite hours, potentially further opportunities of weekly support may be required.
ABOUT YOU
You genuinely care about making a positive difference in someones life. Youre calm, patient, respectful and able to build meaningful, professional relationships based on trust and consistency. Youre confident in providing high-quality person centred care and understand the importance of supporting someone to live life their way.
The ideal candidate will live close to me and be able to work flexibly.
Ideally, I would like someone with complex care experience with children, however full comprehensive training will be provided.
BENEFITS
In return for your dedication, youll receive a competitive rate of pay in addition to:
- 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time positions).
- Company pension scheme after 3 months service, subject to the scheme rules.
- Opportunity to join our Cash Back Health Plan, after successful completion of the probation period.
