ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a happy, fun-loving young man who loves life and spending time with people. I have complex health needs and require daily support from my family and my wonderful team of carers. I am a full-time wheelchair user and am reliant on my team for all transfers using the equipment provided. In addition to this, I require support with all aspects of my daily living as well as support to access college and the community. I am looking for a caring individual who is able to provide support throughout the week both at home and also in the community alongside my family and care team. I enjoy visiting the cinema and theatre, going to live music events, eating out in the cafes in town, visiting the zoo and the seaside, and I also enjoy going swimming. I also require someone to support me to attend hospital appointments with my foster mum. Experience is not essential as an excellent paid training package is available to ensure that you are trained to the highest standards.
