ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a young female adult living at home with my parents and my dog. I attend school each day, which is fun but can be exhausting. I am registered Deaf and Blind and I have a diagnosis of Charge Syndrome as well as Autism and ADHD. I need support to become independent around the house learning skills to live independently; support with domestic tasks will be required too.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal person will be a mature female who has experience as an Intervenor who can almost act as my eyes and ears to support me to navigate the world. Experience in supporting in Early years with school children would be beneficial and in addition if you were creative you could help with arts and crafts. I prefer adult company to my peers.
You need to be flexible to cover holidays and sickness as well as weekends. Full training will be provided to ensure you are skilled to support me.
I am looking for support for 20 hours per week, as follows, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 4 hours after school, and then 8 hours on a Saturday.
Rates of pay are £14.30/hour weekdays. Rates of pay £18.59/hour for weekends.
