We are recruiting compassionate carers to support two twin men aged 20 with complex disabilities in their family home.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are twin young men with complex health needs who live at home with our dad and friendly dog. We're sociable, love music, laughter, and time outdoors, and use wheelchairs and specialist equipment for mobility. We are looking for caring, reliable support workers to join our 2-to-2 care role supporting young adults with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, chest management, epilepsy management, and personal care and daily living support. You'll be joining a supportive home care setup. It's important that you're comfortable working within a family home, following guidance while being proactive and confident in your care. Shifts are typically 12 hours and include a mixture of days and nights, averaging around 20 hours per week with flexible patterns (some weeks 10 hours, others up to 30), with opportunities for additional shifts available.

ABOUT YOU

This role is ideal for experienced carers, healthcare assistants, student nurses or healthcare students, as well as anyone keen to develop skills in complex clinical care. We offer a competitive rate of £14.89 per hour, along with paid clinical training, including full training in tracheostomy, PEG, and epilepsy care. All training hours are paid, and you'll be working in a supportive family environment with a stable, long-term care package. If you're warm, flexible, and want to make a real difference as part of a family team, we'd love to hear from you.

BENEFITS

In return for your dedication, you'll receive a competitive rate of pay in addition to:

  • 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time positions).
  • Company pension scheme after 3 months service, subject to the scheme rules.
  • Opportunity to join our Cash Back Health Plan, after successful completion of the probation period.
  • Free training and development for all roles.
  • Access to wellbeing and support tools.
  • Star of the Month rewards.
  • And so much more!
