SOLOJSN ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to provide part-time support to a young man with Autism, a Learning Disability and Epilepsy, living in the Coventry area. Our client is supported to live as independently as possible and enjoys being active, socialising and accessing the local community. The successful candidate will support our client with a range of activities and encourage his independence, confidence and community involvement. He enjoys: Riding his bike Going to the cinema Eating out Going to the gym Socialising with others Exploring new activities and places An interest in the gym would be particularly beneficial, as the successful candidate will support him to access a gym and take part in activities he enjoys. Our client manages his own home environment but would benefit from verbal prompts and encouragement to make sure his home is kept clean and tidy.
