ABOUT THE ROLE I am a lively and fun-loving lady, living at home with my family in the Eastwood area of Nottinghamshire. I have Huntingtons Disease which means I have a range of physical and mental health difficulties. I need support around the clock to help me live my life to the full. I like to spend time with my family and enjoy watching movies.I live with my family and have a great team of personal assistants. I am looking for another person to join our team. I have my care provided by 2 people (double-up) during the day as I am transferred with a hoist, and I also have a PEG in place to meet my nutritional and hydration needs. I have my care provided by 1 person overnight. ABOUT YOU I am looking to recruit someone who can support me with personal care and all activities of daily living. Suitable candidates will be calm, level headed and reliable. I respond well to people whom I am familiar with and who understand me well. It is essential that you are patient and conscientious with high standards and attention to detail. You should be flexible and helpful with the ability to respect my dignity and individuality. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be female only.
