Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis at Devon & Cornwall Police, DCP South Molton, New Road, South Molton, EX36 4BH. We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team; we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.
Hours: 5 hours per week (Tuesday & Thursday, 2.5 hours a day, 09:30-12:00).
Pay: Minimum wage applies.
Background Check: Due to the nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undertake police vetting and must have been a resident in the UK for 3 years or more.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of cleaning activities, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, washroom and general cleaning.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
- Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.
Qualifications:
- Good attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
- Cleaning experience preferred but full training will be provided if necessary.
