About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Custody Cleaner to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within Police Custody Offices, ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and presentable at all times. Working within a secure and sensitive environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a consistent and high-quality cleaning service in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising custody offices, corridors, and associated areas
- Ensuring all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings are cleaned to a high hygiene standard
- Safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the site supervisor or management team
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage allocated tasks within the scheduled time
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach
- Police Vetting clearance will be required for this role
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Training and Support
