Cleaning Operative in Bradford

Overview

Solo Service Group is recruiting a part‑time temporary cleaning operative to join our team at Waterstones Bookstore, The Wool Exchange, Hustlergate, Bradford (BD1 1BL). This role is required for temporary cover between 02/02/26 and 01/03/26.

Hours & Pay

Weekly Hours: 10.5
Daily Hours: 2 / 2.5
Days of Work: Monday – Friday
Shift Times: Monday–Thursday 08:30–10:30 / Friday 08:30–11:00
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning toilets and other store spaces as required.
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently using initiative while being part of a team.
• Reliability and responsibility with a flexible approach to work.
• Cleaning experience preferred but full training will be provided if necessary.
