Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part time, permanent basis at Crediton Police Station, Churchill Drive, Crediton. EX17 2EF. We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team; we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.
10 Hours a week, 2 Hours a day, Monday - Friday 09:00-11:00. £12.21 per hour. Successful candidate will be required to undertake a Police Check for this role due to the setting.
Responsibilities- Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning of custody cells and toilets/washrooms.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
- Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
- Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary.
- Uniform provided by the company.
