Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part time, permanent basis at Leckhampton Primary School, Hall Road, Cheltenham, GL53 0HP. We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team; we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.
Weekly Hours: 12.5
Daily Hours: 2.5
Days of work: Monday ‑ Friday
Shift times: 15:30-18:00
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hr
Successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check for this role due to the setting.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning wash/shower rooms.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
- Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Good attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team.
- Reliability, responsibility and flexible approach to work.
- Cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided if necessary.
