We are working with a growing healthtech company running a telemedicine platform and a portfolio of technology-enabled clinical services for the NHS. Their products support clinicians and patients by improving access to specialist advice and reducing pressure on frontline services.
This is a high-impact, individual-contributor role and is ideal for someone who enjoys developing leads from scratch, navigating long sales cycles, and closing complex deals. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the MD and is proud to have a “great place to work” certification.
Experience:- Proven track record of closing clinical services / digital-enabled clinical services deals into the NHS (essential)
- Demonstrable senior experience in selling tech-enabled clinical services (for example, telemedicine, referral triage, virtual wards, A & G, clinical services insourcing)
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement routes, and funding mechanisms
- Experience with NHS front-door demand management, referral management, and virtual clinical services
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
- Ability to generate new business from scratch
- Commercially sharp, credible, and able to engage at senior levels
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of Business Development Managers
- Ability to bring in proven, ready-to-deploy Business Development tools and tactics for the wider team
- Own and convert an existing NHS pipeline (ICS/ICB and Trust level)
- Own and refine our business development tools & tactics, to maximise lead generation
- Lead complex sales cycles from early engagement through to close, in both direct award and tender environments
- Develop new opportunities aligned to NHS priorities and service delivery needs
- Build and manage senior NHS stakeholder relationships across clinical, operational, and commercial functions
- Work closely with commissioning, clinical and delivery teams to shape compelling, outcome-focused propositions
- Contribute to marketing & commercial strategy, product, pricing, and go-to-market approach
