About Process Automation:
Serving increasingly demanding clients and distribution partners, many insurance companies are still behind in terms of the speed and quality of their digital services. They are looking for new solutions in business process automation to improve the level of their services, accelerate typical insurance processes and overcome transactional frictions which are still common in the industry. Business process automation enhances all the functions of the insurance industry. It is applied in policy administration, claims handling and many other areas of the insurance value chain.
About the role. You will:
- Take ownership of Sollers’ Process Automation Practice, shaping its vision, roadmap, and evolution.
- Collaborate with technology partners (BPMS/Low-Code vendors) to strengthen joint propositions and evaluate new partnership opportunities.
- Develop thought-leadership materials on automation trends, best practices, and market observations.
- Build and maintain an internal knowledge base of methodologies, accelerators and best practices in Process Automation.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, supporting them in understanding automation opportunities, target architectures, and transformation pathways.
- Co-create high-quality presales materials, case studies, PoVs, demos and client presentations together with the Sales and Delivery teams.
- Represent Sollers as the subject-matter expert during client meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions.
- Work closely with internal competences to align automation initiatives with broader enterprise solutions.
About the requirements. You need:
- Proven experience delivering automation projects in large organisations (BPMS, Low-Code, workflow, orchestration).
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and automation use-cases.
- Minimum 3 years in roles such as Solution Architect, Consultant, Product Owner, Offering Lead or similar.
- Experience working with BPMS/Low-Code platforms (e.g., Camunda, Pega, Appian, OutSystems, Mendix).
- Ability to translate business needs into technical automation concepts and target operating models.
- Strong analytical skills and experience building automation-driven business cases.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture, integration patterns and large-scale distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with C-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and operate independently when needed.
- A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills (at least C1 level).
About the wishes. Nice to haves:
- Experience in building or scaling Process Automation capabilities or practices.
- Familiarity with Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience mentoring team members and fostering professional growth.
- Knowledge of process mining, RPA, intelligent automation and automation observability platforms.
- Hands-on team management experience and a sense of responsibility for results.
- Fluency in additional language, preferably German or French.
- Experience working in consulting, implementation, or IT firms, particularly in the insurance or bancassurance sectors.
