Here\’s what to expect from your role as a trainee recruitment consultant:
- Time on the phone:You’ll spend a significant amount of time on the phone to build relationships, win new business (jobs), and identify candidates that fit those roles.
- Mastering LinkedIn:LinkedIn is a key platform for any recruiter, you’ll grow your network, build your personal brand, and be consistently outreaching to clients and candidates to build your pipeline.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle:You\’ll be sourcing candidates, guiding them through the interview process and supporting them as they start the new role. You\’ll also learn to handle client communication, manage expectations, and ensure a smooth hiring process for client and candidate.
- Highly organised:You’ll be writing job adverts, scheduling an coordinating interview process, and have to keep your application tracking system updated accurately – because the devil’s in the detail.
