About the Company
Solis have partnered with a fast-growing B2B SaaS business operating where energy markets meet data intelligence. The platform serves thousands of energy professionals each week, helping organisations calculate, forecast, and make critical decisions across power, commodities, and the energy transition. The business has scaled internationally and is now trusted by some of the most influential energy sector participants in the world, investing heavily in AI and continuing to grow.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Product or Product Lead, who wants genuine end-to-end ownership of a platform used by thousands of professionals every week. The platform spans multiple modules and product streams, and you will be responsible for how they connect, how users move between them, and how decisions in one area shape the experience across the whole. This needs someone comfortable operating across the full product lifecycle. You will run discovery, speak directly with clients, and bring the technical fluency to work closely with engineering. An eye for design matters too, making sure every part of the experience is considered and coherent. You will set the vision, own the roadmap, and make the product decisions that move the platform forward. AI is central to where this product is heading, and you will play a leading role in embedding it in ways that genuinely change what the platform can do for users.

Responsibilities

  • Set the platform vision and roadmap, aligned to commercial and strategic objectives
  • Define how users navigate, calculate, and consume data, forecasts, and research
  • Lead shared platform capabilities including dashboarding, data visualisation, and reusable product surfaces
  • Work with the AI Product Manager to embed AI-powered workflows that create real user value
  • Run discovery and build user understanding through analytics, research, and direct client engagement
  • Drive cross-functional delivery across engineering, design, data, and commercial teams
  • Line manage and develop product talent
  • Own commercial outcomes including adoption, engagement, and revenue contribution

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 6+ years in product management, with experience as a Product Lead, Head of Product, or equivalent
  • Genuine end-to-end ownership of a significant product or platform, not a component within something bigger
  • Has built and shipped AI capability into a product with outcomes to show for it, covering both strategy and delivery
  • Comfortable on a modern, cloud-native stack. Migrations and replatforms are fine, but your career should be building forward, not maintaining the past
  • At ease with data-heavy, quantitative environments and the complexity of a multi-module platform where decisions in one area ripple into others
  • Technical fluency to work closely with engineering, and an eye for design and user experience
  • Experience managing and developing product teams
  • Commercially sharp, with a clear understanding of how product decisions drive business outcomes

Desirable:

  • Experience in energy markets, financial data, legal intelligence, or commodities
  • Background in analytics platforms, market intelligence, or forecasting products
  • Familiarity with calculation engines, scenario modelling, or decision-support tools

Hybrid working with flexible hours
A seat at the table in a business shaping how the energy sector makes its most important decisions
