About the Role

This is a hands-on Marketplaces Assistant role supporting the day-to-day performance and growth of Amazon UK and EU marketplace channels. Working closely with the Senior Marketplaces Manager and internal teams, you will play an active role in catalogue management, listing optimisation, advertising support, and account health. The role suits someone sales-minded, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, multi-market eCommerce environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities for the Marketplaces Assistant:

  • Marketplace Management & Trading
    • Support daily operations and trading performance across Amazon UK and EU
    • Ensure accurate and consistent product data, pricing, and content across all territories
    • Support localisation of listings, keyword optimisation, and regional compliance requirements
    • Collaborate with content, design, logistics, and purchasing teams to deliver operational excellence
  • Advertising & Growth Campaigns
    • Assist in the execution and optimisation of Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns across core product categories
    • Help manage budgets to hit ACOS and ROAS targets while supporting revenue growth
    • Support seasonal, brand-building, and product-launch campaigns across multiple regions
  • Catalogue, Content & Brand
    • Maintain a high-quality, region-optimised product catalogue across marketplaces
    • Enhance product listings through improved imagery, A+ content, and brand storefronts
    • Ensure listings meet marketplace policies and maintain consistent brand presentation
  • Account Health, Compliance & Risk
    • Monitor performance metrics, policy adherence, customer satisfaction, and marketplace compliance
    • Resolve performance notifications, appeals, and compliance issues proactively
    • Stay current with Amazon policy changes, regional regulations, and fulfilment requirements across UK and EU

To be successful in your application for the Marketplaces Assistant you will have/be:

  • Hands-on experience working with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • Understanding of marketplace SEO, algorithms, conversion drivers, and category optimisation
  • A sales and growth mindset with exposure to margin and profitability KPIs
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with good analytical ability
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

This is a great opportunity for a graduate selling on Amazon and eBay during their studies, or someone with 6 months to 1 year experience.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with tools such as Linnworks, ChannelAdvisor, Helium10, or Jungle Scout
  • Working knowledge of FBA, FBM, cross-border fulfilment, and international logistics
  • Experience running advertising campaigns with measurable results
