We're working with a fast-growing company in the cybersecurity and risk management space looking for a senior, hands-on Head of Demand Generation and Marketing Operations to own their entire demand generation and marketing operations function. This is a rare opportunity to build an AI-native revenue engine from the ground up, working directly alongside senior leadership with real ownership of pipeline outcomes, not just channel metrics. This role will begin as an Individual Contributor, and as the company scales there could be potential to build a team in the future, but currently needs someone comfortable in a 0 to 1 environment. The role is fully remote and will suit someone who enjoys autonomy and is comfortable setting the agenda.

The Role and Responsibilities for the Head of Demand Generation

  • You'll take end-to-end ownership of the demand engine, from acquisition strategy through to pipeline conversion.
  • Planning and executing multi-channel demand programmes across paid, outbound, email, SEO, and events.
  • Hands-on campaign execution across Google Ads and LinkedIn.
  • Allocating ad spend across various channels and optimising bids to hit target metrics like CPC and CPL.
  • Owning SEO strategy and execution, including optimisation for AI-driven discovery platforms.
  • Building and managing lead nurture journeys based on persona, behaviour, and buying stage.
  • Owning the HubSpot instance end-to-end, including lifecycle stages, lead scoring, and routing logic, as well as building custom lists, retargeting funnels, and executing ABM campaigns.
  • Defining MQL and SQL criteria and aligning closely with the sales team on pipeline progression.
  • Building attribution models and dashboards that connect marketing activity directly to revenue.
  • Maintaining data hygiene across contacts, companies, and deals to ensure reporting reflects reality.
  • Identifying funnel bottlenecks and implementing optimisations across campaigns and conversion points.
  • Planning and executing event participation at industry conferences and exhibitions.
  • Building AI agents and automated workflows to increase speed and output across the function.
  • Running A/B tests across email, landing pages, and nurture flows to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who wants to play a critical role in helping the company scale.
  • 7 to 10 years in B2B marketing, with experience spanning both Demand Generation and Marketing Operations.
  • A background in B2B SaaS, ideally in industries related to cybersecurity, compliance, GRC, or TPRM.
  • Comfort managing paid media budgets across Google Ads and LinkedIn, optimising spend and finding ways to increase profitability and top-line revenue.
  • Deep, practical experience owning HubSpot end-to-end.
  • Confidence using AI tools daily, and the ability to build agents and workflows to automate production.
  • The ability to operate autonomously in a lean environment and move at pace.
  • A track record of owning pipeline outcomes, not just channel performance.

The role really needs someone who has worked in a small B2B SaaS, enjoys variety in their day, and has already leveraged AI to drive efficiency.
