Hybrid working from Farringdon Office

Leading a small team of SEOs in a boutique digital agency with mid-sized to large clients.

Experience Required:

  • 10 years agency experience
  • Hiring, training and managing SEO teams
  • Developing modern SEO strategy in an increasingly AI driven world
  • Expert level technical SEO capability and demonstrable experience managing large websites of 1m+ URLs
  • Expert consulting skills and written fluency
  • Demonstrate capability architecting new SOPs, deliverables and processes
  • Firm grasp of AI, RAG and automation for common SEO processes

Accountable for Quality Assurance:

  • Ensuring all SEO deliverables are completed to a high standard
  • Updating and creating new deliverables and processes
  • Developing processes, checks and balances to increase work quality and efficiency over time

Team OKRs:

  • Setting department objectives that align with the company objectives
  • Setting team objectives and working with them to achieve the key results
  • Team SWOT analysis and on-going training and career development plans

Client KPIs:

  • Consistently achieving increased clicks and conversions for our clients
  • Being the technical SEO advocate in the room for pitches and client QBRs
  • Delivering high NPS and client satisfaction scores

Responsible for Retention: Client and Team:

  • Achieving high NPS scores for the client and the team
  • Growing and promoting the teams through our internal job levels
  • Building SEO deliverables and reports that fulfil client KPIs

Growth:

  • Spotting team gaps and developing a hiring plan in line with financial forecasts
  • Producing training plans, documentation and governance related to our career progression ladder
  • Helping pitch and win new business
  • Growing the agency's reputation through technical SEO thought leadership via content production, media and conference talks

Performance:

  • Setting strategy and getting your hands dirty with big clients
  • Managing big client relationships
