The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong application development experience and a solid interest or background in AI. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable applications while contributing to AI-driven features and solutions. You’ll work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to turn ideas into reliable, production-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications
- Build and integrate backend services, APIs, and microservices
- Develop and deploy AI/ML-powered features and workflows
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate models into production systems
- Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Proven experience in application development (web, backend, or enterprise applications)
- Experience working with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and system integration
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar)
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git)
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models into production (preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with data pipelines, model monitoring, or MLOps practices
- Frontend exposure (React, Vue, or similar) is a plus
