In this role you will drive non-functional testing initiatives for clients, focusing on performance across APIs, front end and UI layers. You’ll work within a collaborative, agile team to translate client needs into measurable NFT outcomes. You will engage with stakeholders to define NFRs, develop and execute tests, and report on performance against targets. The role sits in our Quality Engineering function, supporting rapid delivery for public and private sector projects. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape scalable, reliable systems and showcase your test engineering impact.

Responsibilities
- Work on performance testing projects covering API, Front End, and UI-based testing
- Gather performance test requirements through client meetings and review NFRs
- Develop performance test scripts
- Execute and report on performance tests to technical and business stakeholders
- Highlight performance test failures against NFRs
- Conduct performance testing against Azure infrastructure
- Carry out performance test analysis
- Analyse NFRs to ensure clarity and testability
- Communicate issues or risks to stakeholders in a timely manner
Key requirements
- Experience as a performance tester/engineer
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience developing, executing and maintaining performance test scripts, ideally using Gatling (preferred), JMeter or LoadRunner
- Good interpersonal skills and experience working with client teams or third parties
- Experience in other NFT areas such as Accessibility, Compatibility, Usability, Disaster Recovery (beneficial)
- Excellent written and spoken communication with ability to engage with teams and clients
