About You: You are a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems. The Role: We are looking for experienced Non Functional Test Engineers with demonstrable experience in Performance Testing and Non Functional Testing to join us on a permanent basis and assist with the running of our performance testing projects. You will be involved in overall NFT as well as API testing, Front End testing and UI based performance testing on behalf of both our public and private sector clients. Those not from a performance testing background, or without demonstrable experience in performance testing, will not be considered for this role.
Requirements Key Responsibilities:
- Working on a variety of performance testing projects covering API, Front End, and UI based performance testing
- Gathering performance test requirements through project and client engagement meetings and reviewing NFRs
- Developing performance test scripts
- Executing and reporting on performance tests to technical and business stakeholders
- Highlighting any performance test failures against NFRs
- Performance testing against Azure infrastructure
- Carrying out performance test analysis
- Perform analysis of NFRs to ensure they are clear and testable
- Ensure any issues or risks are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
Key Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working as a performance tester/engineer on previous roles
- Working on multiple projects at the same time and able to manage time effectively.
- Experience of developing, executing and maintaining performance test scripts, ideally using Gatling (preferred), Jmeter or LoadRunner.
- Good interpersonal skills and experience of working with client teams or third parties.
- Experience in others Areas of NFT such as Accessibility, Compatibility, Usability, Disaster Recovery etc would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to successfully engage with team members and clients.
