Are you looking for your next challenge and an opportunity to improve the life chances of our learners as a Teacher in Fashion and Sewing? We are looking for a full‑time, permanent Teacher in Fashion and Sewing.

Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and develop teaching/learning programmes using flexible strategies and learning styles.
- Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meets learner needs.
- Assess learner progress in college or work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
- Support both Teaching and Work Base Learning provisions.
- Teach two evening classes a week, as we offer adult courses.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and high motivation.
- Literacy and Numeracy at least Level 2.
- Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification (Certificate in Education/PGCE/Bachelor of Education) with a requirement to achieve a Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
- Relevant assessment qualifications (IQA/A1/V1) and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
- Experience in pattern cutting, garment construction, and confidence with domestic and industrial sewing machines and industrial overlockers.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
