The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

We are looking for a teacher to cover a maternity leave in the Travel and Tourism department for 0.6 full-time equivalent. The role is part of the Teacher Pensions scheme and includes a range of benefits such as a holiday allowance of 45 days (pro-rated), Costa Coffee on site, free on-site gym, and various retail discounts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and develop teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs.
  • Assess learners' progress in college or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Enthusiasm, resilience and high motivation, with literacy and numeracy at least Level 2.
  • Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent).
  • Relevant experience in the travel and tourism sector is essential.
  • Level 4 teaching qualification (Certificate in Education/PGCE/Bachelor of Education) and the ability to achieve a Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
  • Relevant assessment qualifications (IQA/A1/V1) and evidence of current continuous professional development.
