About This Role
We are looking for a full‑time permanent Assessor in Automotive. You will deliver training, assess and quality‑assure work‑based learning programmes in line with the college’s Apprenticeship Strategy, supporting learners to achieve progression into sustained employment. You will act as a skilled team player with excellent communication skills, dedicated to improving the life chances of our learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training, assessing and quality‑assuring work‑based learning programmes.
- Support learning needs through a range of methodologies.
- Assist apprentices in meeting the college’s Apprenticeship Strategy and progression targets.
- Collaborate with the team to maximise opportunities for learners to achieve employment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Automotive.
- Assessor qualifications such as A1, TAQA, D32.
- At least Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
- Relevant occupational experience.
- Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
