Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new product ideas and turn them into viable commercial products.

Candidate Profile

  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships through understanding of their markets, products, processes and online capabilities and constraints.
  • Be hands-on in developing products for customers either from specific briefs or concept ideas and lead product presentations in conjunction with Innovation team members.
  • Have a natural interest and passion in food and an understanding of key ingredients and their functions.
  • Proactively keep abreast of new market trends and product concepts and generate new ideas.
  • Have knowledge of the usage of Solina products in application and drive new product development and continuous improvement.
  • Develop a full understanding of the company’s capabilities and knowledge of the production and quality standards required.
  • Have a sound understanding of the company’s capabilities (production limitations, company strategy, personnel limitations, etc.).
  • Work within the prescribed development system (Recipe Management System, filing, etc.).
  • Support the wider B2B R&D team by assisting in other areas to prevent overloading of work when required.
