Who are we looking for? Responsible for efficiently and accurately managing the storage, retrieval, and movement of goods within a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Role involves the handling of bags of up to 25 kg in weight.
- Picking and supplying raw materials to production as per procedures.
- Booking in raw materials as per company procedures.
- Running the palletiser equipment for the finished product and loading it onto the appropriate trailers.
- Helping in other departments when necessary and promoting a strong team culture in all areas.
Candidate Profile
- PPT A2 Licence or Pivot steer Licence
- Able to use computers in particular Microsoft Office and Outlook e-mail
- Good awareness of Health and Safety
- Able to lift bags of up to 25 kg
- Experience of working within a team environment
- Able to demonstrate initiative
- Used to working within a fast moving, pressured department
- Good understanding of written and verbal communication
- Good level of numeracy skills
- Experience of using machines with PLC controls
