About the Role
We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Care & Support Workers, providing person-centred care and support to adults in their own homes and within the local community.
Previous care experience is **not essential**, as a comprehensive induction, training and ongoing support will be provided.
You will predominantly work on a 1:1 basis and will become part of a small, dedicated care team supporting individuals to maintain and develop their independence, achieve their personal goals and participate in activities that are important to them.
Duties will vary according to the individual needs of the people we support and may include:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living tasks
- Supporting individuals to access social and community activities
- Shopping and domestic tasks, including housework
- Meal planning, preparation and cooking
- Supporting and accompanying individuals to appointments
- Promoting choice, independence, dignity and wellbeing
- Following individual care and support plans and risk assessments
- Reporting any concerns or changes in an individual's needs appropriately
Working Hours
Applicants must be available to work flexibly across **Monday to Sunday**, working 4 or 5 days per week on a two-week rota.
The normal rota includes one weekend on and one weekend off.
Working times vary according to the needs of the people we support, with start times from 7:30am and finish times up to 10:30pm.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available:
**Full-time:** 30β36 hours per week
**Part-time:** 16β24 hours per week
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle for work purposes
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work flexibly within the advertised rota, including alternate weekends
- A caring, respectful and person-centred approach
- Reliability and the ability to work responsibly when supporting individuals on a 1:1 basis

Experience and Training
Previous care experience is **not required**.
Successful applicants will receive a full induction and training programme before undertaking unsupervised care and support duties.
Following successful completion of the probationary period, there will also be opportunities to undertake a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Adult Care.
Ongoing training, development and career progression opportunities are available.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including references, right-to-work checks and an Enhanced DBS check.
The cost of the Enhanced DBS check will be met by the employer.
