We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join our Key Stage 2 team.
Mill Lodge Primary School is a happy and friendly school with talented, hardworking and supportive staff. We are proud of our inclusive ethos and commitment to nurturing every child to achieve their full potential. As a one-form entry primary school, we place a strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and strong relationships with pupils and families.
Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who share our vision of high-quality primary education and school development. The successful candidate may be expected to lead a curriculum area across the school with the support of the Senior Leadership Team; however, ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive appropriate support and development opportunities, depending on experience and stage of career.
Applicants are encouraged to highlight their strengths, interests and relevant experience, demonstrating how they would contribute to the wider life of the school.
In return, we can offer high-quality professional development and the opportunity to work alongside a strong and supportive team, committed to making a real difference to the lives of our pupils.
Mill Lodge Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. As part of our safer recruitment procedures, online searches will be carried out on shortlisted candidates.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and all other pre-employment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.
We welcome and encourage prospective applicants to visit the school. To arrange a visit, or obtain further information, please contact the school office. Further details about our school, values and ethos can be found on our website: www.mill-lodge.solihull.sch.uk
