Contract: Full time (50 weeks per annum with holiday entitlement and 2 weeks closure at Christmas/NY)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm with 30 min break)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Promote learning through play, engaging in conversation with children and setting up activities and resources to aid their development and help them meet early learning goals.
- Communicate with parents, updating them on their child's learning during sessions using the online parent app and in person at drop‑off and collection times.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the setting and external agencies to maintain high quality of care and identify early intervention opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an NVQ Level 2 Childcare Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in early years care is desirable.
